Police Mitra’ is dedicated to serving the policemen who are managing huge crowds and traffic, especially during the Ganpati Season

BLOOD-D, by the Social Welfare & Development Committee, inspires blood donation, saving lives and fostering a sense of purpose in contributors.

 

Aatmabodh:

AATMABODH is a digital literacy program that helps senior citizens overcome tech misconceptions through patient guidance, games, and interactive teaching sessions, bridging the digital gap.

 

 

NSS Camp:

The NSS Camp represents a pivotal event where we immerse ourselves in the life of an underprivileged village and facilitate the comprehensive development of the entire village community.

 





Utkarsh:

Brief description of the said event:

In UTKARSH we tackle the challenges of poverty and illiteracy by offering underprivileged children an opportunity to learn diverse subjects in a joyful and relaxed setting. This activity for students embraces multiple domains, ensuring a well-rounded and all-encompassing learning experience.

Animal Rescue:

Brief description of the said event

The animal rescue event encompassed a range of initiatives designed to tackle different facets of animal welfare. One aspect involved providing fluorescent belts to dogs, which were then tied around their collars to enhance their visibility in low-light conditions. This not only helped to reduce the risk of accidents involving both animals and pedestrians but also raised awareness about the importance of ensuring the safety of pets, particularly during nighttime walks. Additionally, the event involved the creation of posters aimed at educating the community about responsible pet ownership and the challenges faced by stray animals. These posters served as visual aids to convey important messages and promote positive behavior towards animals. Moreover, feeders were constructed to provide sustenance for stray animals, addressing hunger and promoting their well-being.

Go Green:

The event highlights the importance of environmental awareness through various initiatives. Many sustainable practices, such as conserving energy, reducing waste, and opting for eco-friendly products are encouraged through the event’s initiatives. Furthermore, "Go Green" initiatives play a significant role in uniting communities, fostering a collective sense of responsibility and action toward improving the environment. Overall, the event serves as a catalyst for raising awareness, promoting sustainable practices, and fostering community engagement for the betterment of the planet.

 



Swachha Pune:

Brief description of the said event:

Swachh Pune nurtures civic responsibility and eco-awareness, involving participants, notably college students, in cleaning and waste management initiatives. By fostering teamwork and leadership, it encourages community involvement and eco-consciousness, aiming for a cleaner, greener Pune.
The campaign strategically focuses on cherished landmarks like Taljai Tekdi, Parvati Hills, SM Joshi Bridge, and Omkareshwar, preserving their cultural and recreational significance. Prioritizing their upkeep ensures a welcoming environment for locals and tourists. Furthermore, tree planting sessions at Anand Van underscore the commitment to sustainability, enhancing the city's sustainability efforts.

 

 

Vatsalya:

Brief description of the said event:

Vatsalya, a heartfelt initiative, united a team of dedicated volunteers to engage with elderly residents, fostering companionship and respect. Despite the challenges posed by Alzheimer's, joyful activities and heartfelt conversations created lasting memories, embodying the importance of honouring our elders with care and dignity.

 

 

Aashakiran:

Brief description of the said event: 

Aashakiran in collaboration with ‘The SpacECE Foundation’ aimed to bring light and hope into the lives of underprivileged individuals by providing essential support and services. The activity focuses on the holistic development of 1 to 3-year-old children which is crucial as this period lays the foundation for their future growth and well-being. The main focus of this initiative was to provide essential knowledge from basics to toddlers with the help of many different activities to make them understand things the way they can from the safe space of their homes.

 

Aavishkar:

Brief description of the said event: 

Its primary objective is to create a positive impact by promoting education, health, and well-being among the less fortunate through various activities such as mentoring and empowering. The activity develops a sense of satisfaction for both volunteers and elderly people. It is an effort to alleviate the loneliness experienced by the elderly and mentally challenged people and make them feel they have their people.






Matadhikar

Brief description of the said event:

Matadhikar was a comprehensive initiative aimed at fostering a culture of active citizenship and political awareness. Through a series of activities including awareness campaigns, workshops, and collaborative projects, the event sought to educate participants about their rights and responsibilities as citizens, with a particular emphasis on the significance of voting and maintaining the integrity of the electoral process.

Muskaan:

Brief description of the said event:

‘Muskaan’, an initiative dedicated to orphaned children, aims to foster happiness and belonging while providing valuable knowledge and positive experiences. Volunteers engage in tailored sessions, educational activities, and career guidance sessions across various orphanages like 'Saint Mary Orphanage', 'Janseva Foundation Orphanage', 'Unicorn Child Development Centre', and 'Akshar Paaul Orphanage'. 

 

 

Night Patrolling: 

Brief description of the said event:

Night Patrolling is a community-driven initiative where volunteers work alongside local police at Swargate Police Station, Sahakarnagar Police Station and Bibwewadi Police Station to ensure public safety and security during night hours. Through regular patrols, volunteers help identify and report suspicious activities, assist in emergency situations, and foster a sense of community and trust among citizens.



 

Prayatna:

Brief description of the said event:

This initiative is a beacon of hope for individuals with sensory impairments, catalyzing positive change and progress within our community. With unwavering dedication, it strives to break down barriers and create a more inclusive society where every individual, regardless of their sensory challenges, has the opportunity to thrive and succeed.
