Faculty members of Electronics Engineering Department, Vishwakarma Institute of Technolgy are recipients of many distinguished awards such as VIT Shri, VIT Bhushan, etc. They are also Editors of various International Journals by IEEE, Elsevier, etc. Some of the distinguished and the most recent awards are listed below.

1. Prof. Vijay Gaikwad receivedthe VIT Shri (Well Appraised Teacher) award in 2010,2011,2012,2013 and 2015.
2. Prof. Mrs. Medha Wyawahare received the VIT Shri (Well Appraised Teacher) award in 2014.
3. Prof. Mrs. Swati Shilaskar received the VIT Shri award in 2014 for remarkable achievement towards administration activity.
4. Prof. Mrs. Swati Shilaskar received the VIT Shri (Well Appraised Teacher) award in2015.
5. Prof. Mrs. Swati Shilaskar received the VIT Shri (Research Paper) award in 2013.
6. Prof. Mrs. RupaliTornekar received the VIT Shri (Well Appraised Teacher) award in 2014.
7. Prof. Vijay Gaikwad received the Best project award from University of Pune, at Avishkar- 8th Maharashtra State Inter University Research Convention 2013.

1. Prof. Vijay Gaikwad gave expert talk on Signals and Systems at Tulsiyani Institute, khamshet in Oct 2013.
2. Prof. Mrs. RupaliTornekar and Prof. Sidharth Bhorge gave expert talk on Digital Signal & Image processing using MATLAB” at Vishwakarma Institute of Technology, Pune in Aug 2013.

Student Achievements / Award (2015-16)  

1. Swapnil Sangale has published paper in IJAERD , Volume 02, International Journal, impact factor – 3.134 in July 2015.
2. Swapnil Sangale was runner up for Melange 2015 –Vollyball.
3. Ramishkawadiwale and Anuradha maid have presented paper in NCMOC Conference - 2015.
4. Ramishkawadiwale, Shraddha Deshmukh, Pooja Kamble, SnehaLohiya have presented papers in International conference on Information Processing, in Dec 2015
5. PurvaPimplikar, Nikhil Mahajanhave won the First Prize for Flip Animation in FirodiyaKarandak– 2016.
6. Rajesh Kumbhar, KulkdeepHankare, Aniket Mali, Abhishek Shinde have won the First Prize for Cummins Pentacles’16 - kho-kho Sports Event hosted at Cummins College Engineering, Pune.
7. SnehaNavale, PadminiPandhare, AnujaShinde, SupriyaKolate, DhanashriPawar, MayuriSonawne, ChetnaPatil have won the Runner’s Up at VIT Melange’16 - Kho-kho(girls) Sports event.
8. NishantSanghvi has won First Prize at VIT Melange’16 - Basketball Event, has also won Runner’s up COEP Zest’16 –Basketball sports event hosted by CoEP, Pune.
9. Tanvi Joshi has won Second Prize at VIT Melange’16 - Table Tennis sports event, she also has crowned third prize at COEP Zest’16 - Table Tennis sports event hosted by CoEP, Pune.
10. ShubhamPahade has received Runner’s up at Cummins Pentacles’16 - Table Tennis Sports Event, hosted by Cummins COE Pune.
11. Priyadarshni Kulkarni has won First Prize at VIT Melange’16 – Badminton.
12. SurajKhade, KuldeepPatil, PadminiPandhare, SnehaNavale have presented paper in 49th IRF International Conference, Pune in Feb 2016.
13. Abhishek Desai, PriyankaInjmulwar, Siddhi Karakhedkar, AshwinChannawar, AshwinChannawar, Amruta Gate, GargiBeri, Pankaj Ganjare have presented papers at ACCET-2016 event organized by Modern College of Engineering, Pune.
