Ramkrishna Pasumarthy received the Ph.D. degree in systems and control from the University
of Twente, Enschede, The Netherlands, in 2006. He is currently an Associate Professor with the
Department of Electrical Engineering, Indian Institute of Technology Madras, Chennai, India,
where he is also associated with the Robert Bosch Center for Data Science and Artificial
Intelligence. He also held visiting positions with the Stanford University School of Medicine,
Stanford, CA, USA. His research interests include modeling and control of complex, physical, and
network systems with applications to power, traffic, and brain networks; and identification and
control and resource optimization in (cloud) computing systems. He also serves as a coordinator
for the Swayam-NPTEL program at IIT Madras.
Currently Associate Professor at Dynamics and Control lab, Held post doc positions at University of Melbourne and UCLA.

Since 2008 he is Divisional Director of the Automotive Electronics Department at the Virtual Vehicle Research Center Graz. In 2017 he was appointed as Full Professor of Autonomous Driving at the Institute of Automation and Control, Graz University of Technology, Austria. His career, spanning more than 30 years, includes Director of Technology Security and Lead Member of Technical Staff at AT&T, CTO of Wireless for NIKSUN, Inc., Senior Scientist and Project Manager in Telcordia Research, Director of the Central Research Facility at Columbia University, adjunct faculty at NJIT, and Computer Engineer with TATA Motors.

Sri has been associated with the IEEE Standards Association for the past 10 years focused on
developing key program that address core issues of security, identity, trust and building end-to-
end trustworthy devices and systems across emerging areas such as IoT/Smart Cities, Quantum
Computing, Machine Learning, Sensors and Blockchain.
Sir also heads the standardization efforts for IEEE SA for the Asia Pacific region and drives the
IEEE Prior to joining IEEE, Sri was associated with Freescale Semiconductor Inc. (formerly
Motorola Inc.) for 17 years, managing a global Electronic Design Automation R&D team. Sri
received the Accellera Technical Excellence Award in 2009 for his leadership and contributions
to design automation standardization.
