Since 2008 he is Divisional Director of the Automotive Electronics Department at the Virtual Vehicle Research Center Graz. In 2017 he was appointed as Full Professor of Autonomous Driving at the Institute of Automation and Control, Graz University of Technology, Austria. His research interests focus on sense & control of automated vehicles, sensor fusion, and uncertainty estimation.

Ashutosh Dutta

Ph.D., IEEE Fellow, John Hopkins Applied Physics Laboratory


Ashutosh Dutta is currently senior scientist and 5G Chief Strategist at the Johns Hopkins University Applied Physics Laboratory (JHU/APL). He is also a JHU/APL Sabbatical Fellow and adjunct faculty at The Johns Hopkins University. His career, spanning more than 30 years, includes Director of Technology Security and Lead Member of Technical Staff at AT&T, CTO of Wireless for NIKSUN, Inc., Senior Scientist and Project Manager in Telcordia Research, Director of the Central Research Facility at Columbia University, adjunct faculty at NJIT, and Computer Engineer with TATA Motors.

Dhanukumar Pattanashetti

Senior IEEE Client Services Manager, IEEE India Operations Center, Bengaluru


Dhanu Pattanashetti is the Senior Client Services Manager at IEEE and is based out of Bangalore. Dhanu works with IEEE Xplore Digital Library customers in Southern and Western regions of India, and Sri Lanka. He handles IEEE Xplore training (both onsite and via webinar) and presentations. He closely works with libraries in universities/technical institutions, students/faculty/researchers in academic, government and corporate sectors and advises effective data use for their endeavors. He has a PhD in Library and Information Science from University of Mysore; Master's degree in Library and Information Science and a Bachelor's degree in Engineering. He has authored two papers in journals and has presented a paper at an international conference. Dhanu is with IEEE since 2010, and has worked at Thomson Reuters, Accenture, PES Institute of Technology and Informatics prior to joining IEEE.

Prof. Dr. Mathias Bonmarin

Professor at Zurich University of Applied Sciences School of Engineering Institute of Computational Physics


Professor Mathias Bonmarin joined the School of Engineering of the Zurich University of Applied Science (ZHAW) as a research associate in 2010 before being appointed senior lecturer at the Institute of Computational Physics in 2014. Between July 2018 and July 2019, Mathias was a Fulbright visiting research scholar at the College of Engineering and Applied Sciences of the University of Cincinnati in the US.

Since July 2019 he is a Professor of optoelectronics and leads the Sensors and Measurement Systems group at ZHAW. His research interests focus on the development of innovative sensors and instruments for medicine and biology. Mathias is IEEE senior member (IMS and EMBS) and received the 2019 Best Application in I&M Award.

Sri has been associated with the IEEE Standards Association for the past 10 years focused on developing key program that address core issues of security, identity, trust and building end-to- end trustworthy devices and systems across emerging areas such as IoT/Smart Cities, Quantum Computing, Machine Learning, Sensors and Blockchain.
Sir also heads the standardization efforts for IEEE SA for the Asia Pacific region and drives the IEEE Prior to joining IEEE, Sri was associated with Freescale Semiconductor Inc. (formerly Motorola Inc.) for 17 years, managing a global Electronic Design Automation R&D team. Sri received the Accellera Technical Excellence Award in 2009 for his leadership and contributions to design automation standardization.
