The Internet of Things (IoT) Lab at VIT Pune’s Kondhwa Campus was officially inaugurated on January 30, 2025, representing a major step forward in the institute’s commitment to technological advancement and research excellence. This state-of-the-art facility is designed to empower students, researchers, and faculty to explore, innovate, and develop real-world IoT solutions across various domains.

As smart technologies continue to transform industries such as smart cities, healthcare, agriculture, automation, and industrial IoT, the demand for hands-on experience in these areas has grown significantly. In response, VIT Pune through a collaborative effort with the IEEE Pune Chapter, IEEE Sensor Council, and Elliot Systems has launched this dedicated IoT Lab to bridge the critical gap between classroom learning and practical application.
