Students of Vishwakarma Institute of Technology participated in an industrial visit to Barclays on 05 Nov 2025 for AY 2025-26, where they gained firsthand exposure to a professional corporate environment and industry practices. The visit provided valuable insights into organizational workflows, technological infrastructure, and industry expectations, helping students better understand the practical application of engineering and technology concepts in a leading global financial institution.


The Barclays Data Engineering Course Completion Program 2025 was conducted on 07 July 2025 at Vishwakarma Institute of Technology for all participating students, providing comprehensive training in data engineering concepts such as data pipelines, database management, data processing, and analytics. The program focused on practical, industry-oriented learning, enabling students to build a strong foundation in data engineering while gaining exposure to real-world applications, tools, and best practices aligned with current industry standards.


A Faculty Development Program (FDP) under the National Supercomputing Mission was organized at Vishwakarma Institute of Technology (VIT) on High Performance Computing (HPC) and Artificial Intelligence (AI). The program aimed to enhance faculty members’ knowledge and skills in advanced computing technologies, covering key concepts, tools, and real-world applications of HPC and AI, while promoting research, innovation, and effective integration of these technologies into academics and industry-focused projects.

The visit provided valuable insights into organizational workflows, technological infrastructure, and industry expectations, helping students better understand the practical application of engineering and technology concepts in a leading global financial institution.


The Barclays Data Engineering Course Completion Program 2024 was conducted on 30 August 2024 at Vishwakarma Institute of Technology for all participating students, providing comprehensive training in data engineering concepts such as data pipelines, database management, data processing, and analytics. The program focused on practical, industry-oriented learning, enabling students to build a strong foundation in data engineering while gaining exposure to real-world applications, tools, and best practices aligned with current industry standards.

INNOVHACK 2.0

The Department of Computer Engineering has successfully hosted Maharashtra’s Biggest Hackathon–INNOVHACK 2.0 ✨ Organized by Bot-Buddies In association with VIT Pune, Nextech Minds & S2P Robotics Pvt. Ltd. The prizes of Rs. 40K and internships with stipends for 18 groups are offered by the company. A total of 248 teams participated in this hackathon.
