Bansilal Ramnath Agarwal charitable trust (BRACT) established on 16th June 1975 runs religious & educational activities in the city of Pune and several other parts of the country. The trust is devoted to spiritual and social development of mankind. As a part of the objectives, the trust has instituted several educational institutions with a motto of imparting high quality education. In order to meet the requirements of society & industry, the trust started Vishwakarma Institute of Technology in the year 1983 to impart quality technical education to develop useful manpower for industry in particular. “VISHWAKARMA” according to Indian mythology, is an architect- engineer of God Almighty. The trust adopted this name with a vision to develop engineers of high reputation, who could take up the challenges of any type of job.
