Cold Plate

The cold plate has been designed for extracting the heat from the chip and rejecting to the surrounding. Water is used as the working fluid for the removal of the heat. Heat transfer and fluid flow characteristics has been developed by conducting various experiments. The designed cold plate can be used for removing heat from chip at different heat inputs by varying the water flow rate.

Precise, accurate and cost effective device for engine speed control during its testing

Fine adjustment of the engine speed during its laboratory testing is very much essential to determine its performance. The laboratory experiment of trial on variable speed engine consists of the multi cylinder petrol engine test rig on which various parameters can be determined. The main application of the system developed is to maintain the constant speed during its experimentation. Since the prior arrangements on the engine test rig maintaining the constant speed is difficult and the fluctuations were observed.  Hence this assembly makes it possible to fine adjust the speeds of the engines and determine its performances at various speeds.

 Pavan Mitra

‘Pavan Mitra’, will deliver a succinct, simple, yet effective way in which you can harness the wind energy to power up your household’s appliances and other power-run devices. It involves design & development of a mini wind turbine which can be stacked together on top of each other in a tower and the tower can eventually be placed according to a planned modular architecture in household spaces, terraces, balconies and many more such environments.
