Objective

 

The International Conference on Computer Networks and Security (ICCNS 2008) aims to bring together researchers, scientists, engineers, and scholar students to exchange and share their experiences, new ideas, and research results about all aspects of Computer Networks and Security, and discuss the practical challenges encountered and the solutions adopted.

 

 

 

 

About Pune City

 

Fondly called as Oxford of the East’ and the cultural capital of Maharashtra. Pune city has grown manifolds over the past few decades. It is the material place of education institutes, Info. Tech. industries, rich in various aspects, renowned personalities, footprints of history, and miracles of geography with a number of National and International achievements.

 

Language Used

 

The regional language out here is Marathi. Unlike many other Indian regional languages, Marathi is easy to understand, posing not too many problems to the tourists. Much can be attributed to the similarity it holds with the national language Hindi.

 

Currency Used

 

The Indian Rupee is the used currency. Many new currency exchange points and ATM centers have come up all over the city over last two years making money easily accessible for visitors.

 

 

 

Pune Festivals

 

As called the cultural capital of Maharashtra, Pune has a proud calendar comprising of a number of festivals and cultural activities ranging from Classical Music to Rock Concerts. Few of them are Ganeshotstav, Pune Festival, Sawai Gandharva Mahotsav , Vasantostsav etc.

 

 

Pune Attractions

 

While it has always been a corporate stopover, Pune has its mix of potpourri and culture which makes for interesting sight seeing within city. For those interested in history and architecture, Pune offers a mix of the modern interfaced with the old! University of Pune , Vishrambag Wada, Shaniwar Wada,Aga Khan Palace, Parvati Temple are some of them.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Climate

 

The weather condition in general is balanced. The temperature in September is moderate .  The range is from 19 - 25 degrees.

 

Safety

 

As in the most of the cities, the intra-city areas are very safe even at night.
